While the original Tempestry project has a standardized list of colors that correspond to 5-increment temperature ranges, the Wool of the Andes Worsted yarn line from KnitPicks no longer carries the necessary colors. The Tempestry folks pivoted by providing their own line of yarn, but we at Geneseo Tempestry decided to take the opportunity to partner with a local yarn shop in Honeoye, NY, the Fuzzy Bunny. Through them, we’ve chosen our own line of yarn colors from Cascade 220 for our specific data set from the ISC weather station.

The Cascade 220 yarn colors for the Geneseo Tempestry project are:
- Burgundy 2401 (106°F+)
